Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. Everything happens in WhatsApp (or Telegram). Members tap a link, choose MTN MoMo or Orange Money, and approve with their PIN.

How much does it cost?

Starting a collection and following the list is free.

I live abroad, can I pay?

Yes. The bot offers bank card payment (Visa, Mastercard): a secure payment page opens, and your line turns ✅ as soon as the payment is received.

What if someone already paid another way?

They tap "Already paid" and send a screenshot or the transaction ID. Their line shows ⏳ until the treasurer approves it.

How do I add Kotiz to my group?

You don't need to: after creating, tap "Send to group" and pick the group. The message has the payment link and the live list.

Who can see the list?

Anyone with the link sees names and amounts (the treasurer can hide amounts). Phone numbers are never shown.

Does Kotiz speak French?

Yes. The bot guesses your language from your first message, and you can change it anytime from the menu (🌐 Language).
